Acceptable Use Policy

You may not use Lazy Ads to:

1.1 Illegal Activities

• Promote or facilitate any illegal activities, products, or services.
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• Engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion.
• Advertise controlled substances, illegal drugs, or unauthorized pharmaceutical products.

1.2 Spam and Unsolicited Content

• Send unsolicited bulk messages or spam.
• Create misleading ad campaigns designed solely to inflate impressions or clicks artificially.
• Engage in click fraud or any form of ad fraud.

1.3 Malware and Security Threats

• Distribute viruses, malware, ransomware, trojans, or other harmful code.
• Create ads that link to phishing sites or websites designed to steal credentials.
• Attempt to compromise the security of our systems, our users, or any third party.

1.4 Deceptive Advertising

• Create intentionally false, misleading, or deceptive ad content.
• Make unsubstantiated claims about products or services (e.g., miracle cures, guaranteed returns).
• Use bait-and-switch tactics or misrepresent the nature of offered products or services.
• Impersonate other brands, companies, or individuals.

1.5 Harassment and Harmful Content

• Create ad content that harasses, intimidates, threatens, or bullies any individual or group.
• Promote hate speech, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Distribute content depicting child exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, or extreme violence.

1.6 Platform Abuse

• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, bans, or restrictions.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written authorization.
• Use automated means (bots, scripts) to interact with the Service outside of our official APIs.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

All advertising content created or managed through Lazy Ads must comply with the following requirements:

2.1 Platform Policy Compliance

Your ads must comply with the advertising policies of each platform where they are published, including but not limited to Google Ads policies, Meta Advertising Standards, LinkedIn Advertising Policies, and TikTok Advertising Policies. You are responsible for understanding and adhering to these platform-specific policies.

2.2 Non-Discriminatory Targeting

You may not use audience targeting features to discriminate against individuals based on protected characteristics. Specifically, you must comply with all applicable anti-discrimination laws, including (but not limited to) fair housing, equal employment opportunity, and credit advertising regulations.

2.3 Truthful and Accurate Claims

All ad content must be truthful and substantiated. You must have a reasonable basis for any claims made in your advertising and must not misrepresent the nature, features, quality, or availability of your products or services.

2.4 Required Disclosures

You are responsible for including all legally required disclosures in your ads, such as terms and conditions, sponsorship disclosures, health warnings, financial disclaimers, and any other regulatory requirements applicable to your industry.

If you access the Lazy Ads API (where available), you agree to the following terms:

3.1 Rate Limits

API access is subject to rate limits based on your subscription plan. You must respect all rate limits and implement appropriate backoff logic. Excessive API calls that degrade service for other users may result in temporary throttling or suspension.

3.2 No Scraping

You may not use automated tools, bots, or scripts to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Lazy Ads platform outside of our documented APIs. This includes scraping our website, dashboards, or any user-facing interface.

3.3 No Reverse Engineering

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or proprietary methods used in the Service. This includes attempting to replicate our AI models, prompt engineering, or optimization logic.

3.4 API Key Security

You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure and confidential. Do not share your API keys or embed them in client-side code. Notify us immediately if you suspect your API keys have been compromised.

We take violations of this Acceptable Use Policy seriously. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:

4.1 Warnings

For first-time or minor violations, we may issue a written warning explaining the violation and requesting corrective action. You will typically be given a reasonable period to remedy the issue.

4.2 Suspension

For repeated or serious violations, we may temporarily suspend your account and access to the Service. During suspension, your campaigns may be paused. We will notify you of the reason for suspension and the steps needed to restore access.

4.3 Termination

For severe violations, including illegal activities, security threats, or repeated violations after warnings, we may permanently terminate your account. Upon termination for AUP violations, you may forfeit any remaining prepaid subscription fees.

4.4 Reporting to Authorities

We reserve the right to report illegal activities to the appropriate law enforcement authorities and to cooperate with investigations.

If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us promptly. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
