Approve every change, or let Lazy Ads run.
Most human in the loop ads products mean this: their agents do the work, and you stamp what comes back. That is a personality. You rented a staff.
Lazy Ads treats the same sentence as a setting. Approve — every create, edit, and pause waits for you. Hands-off — on Starter+, Lazy Ads AI can act inside the rules you set. Same dashboard. Same nine networks. One knob.
This is the AI ad approval workflow. Not a vibe. Not a claim that most changes ship themselves. Not a closed team you cannot fire. A control you point at the write path.

Approve: pause and check before it spends. Hands-off: the same card is already live, inside the rules you set. Nine networks.
A knob, not a personality
A closed team — Playad's public story — hires the agents, names them, and you approve what comes back. Fine if you wanted labor in a box. You did not bring Claude, Cursor, or Hermes. You rented a staff.
That "you approve" is adjacent to ours. It is not the same product. On Lazy Ads the approval question is a two-position control on your accounts, not a job description for someone else's agents. We are not writing a comparison page. The choice is the point.
Approve and Hands-off are not two products. They are two positions on one write path: Meta (Facebook + Instagram), Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Apple, Bing, ChatGPT, and Snapchat. Meta is one network. Do not count Facebook and Instagram as two.
What Approve does
Approve means the change exists as a card before it spends.
Create a campaign, edit a budget, pause an ad set — the write waits. You see the same campaign card in the dashboard. You check it. Then it can spend. If you do not check it, it does not.
That is how you approve AI ad changes when you want the queue, not the slogan. Useful when you are new to a network, when a budget is loud, or when your own agent is still learning the account.
Approve is available wherever you can write. It is not a Starter-only training wheel.
What Hands-off does
Hands-off is the other position. It is not a personality, and it is not a blank check.
On Starter, Growth, and Scale, Lazy Ads AI can act inside the rules you set. Those rules are yours: spend caps, which connected accounts it may touch, what a change is allowed to do. The AI does not invent a tenth platform. It does not move money you did not attach. Nine networks. You still need your own ad accounts.
Hands-off can act on Starter+ because that is where Lazy Ads AI lives. Starter is $79/month billed annually, or $99 month-to-month. You get 45 tools. Growth is $199 / $249. Scale is $399 / $499. Same 45-tool suite; higher caps, and REST from Growth.
If you wanted Lazy Ads to be the strategist and to ship without a tap every time, Hands-off on Starter+ is the sentence that matches.

Approve: every create, edit, and pause waits. Hands-off: Lazy Ads AI on Starter+ acts inside the rules you set. BYOA is the bridge for your agent — the knob still applies. 33 tools on BYOA, 45 on Starter+.
The knob still applies on BYOA
BYOA is the bridge for your agent. Pricing is $19/month billed annually, or $24 month-to-month. You get 33 MCP tools and no Lazy Ads AI. Your Claude, Cursor, or Hermes writes the brief. Lazy Ads is the connector and the dashboard.
The approval knob does not disappear because the brain is yours. Approve: your agent's create, edit, and pause still wait. Hands-off: the 33-tool bridge can write without a second tap from you — still inside the rules you set, still not Lazy Ads AI.
That is the distinction people miss. BYOA answers "whose agent." The knob answers "what ships without you." You can keep the agent and still require a check. You cannot buy Hands-off Lazy Ads AI on BYOA, because that plan has no Lazy Ads AI.
The hosted endpoint is the same one Starter uses: https://mcp.lazyads.ai/mcp. Official listing: ai.lazyads/mcp. Setup lives on the MCP page. Google-first loop: Google Ads automation. Full client setup: Manage ads from your AI agent (MCP).
What stays human in both modes
Some things are not a knob. They stay with you on Approve and on Hands-off. These are product rules, not testimonials.
- Connecting ad accounts. You attach Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Apple, Bing, ChatGPT, or Snapchat. Lazy Ads does not mint a Business Manager for you.
- Spend caps and payment. You set the money. The media still goes to the networks. We do not take a percent of spend on any public card.
- Brand-new network access. A network you have not connected yet does not appear as a live write target until you grant it.
- A tenth platform. We do not offer X Ads. Nine networks. If a vendor paints X on the hero and cannot connect it, that is a homepage, not a pipe.
Hands-off does not mean "anything that can spend, will." It means the writes you already allowed, on the accounts you already connected, inside the caps you already set.

Product rules, not testimonials. Connecting ad accounts, spend caps and payment, brand-new network access, and a tenth platform (we do not offer X Ads) stay with you in both modes.
Plans, without a fake free strategy
Public cards only. Read the cards. Do not treat this post as a customer count.
- Free: 0 AI tokens. Onboarding plus competitor ad browse. Not a generated campaign. Not an MCP key. Not an approval queue for AI writes you cannot run.
- BYOA: $19/month annual, $24 monthly. 33-tool MCP bridge. No Lazy Ads AI. The knob still applies to your agent.
- Starter: $79/month annual, $99 monthly. 45 tools. Lazy Ads AI. Hands-off can act inside rules you set.
- Growth: $199 / $249. Same AI surface, higher caps, REST.
- Scale: $399 / $499.
MCP is not Growth-gated. BYOA has the 33-tool bridge. Starter+ has the 45-tool suite. You do not need Growth to put your agent on the wire.
If your sentence is "I want to approve every change," start on Approve — BYOA if the agent is yours, Starter if you want Lazy Ads AI in the queue. If your sentence is "let Lazy Ads run inside my rules," that is Hands-off on Starter or above.
FAQ
What is an AI ad approval workflow?
A setting that decides whether a create, edit, or pause waits for you before it can spend. On Lazy Ads the two positions are Approve and Hands-off. It is not a closed team, and it is not a claim about how many changes ship themselves.
Is this the same as Playad's "you approve"?
Adjacent, not the same. A closed team hires the agents and you approve their output. Lazy Ads is a knob on your write path. You can bring your own agent on BYOA.
Does Hands-off mean anything can spend?
No. Hands-off lets Lazy Ads AI act inside the rules you set, on Starter+. Connecting accounts, payment, new network access, and a tenth platform stay human. We do not offer X Ads.
Does the approval knob apply on BYOA?
Yes. BYOA is the bridge for your agent — $19 annual or $24 monthly, 33 tools, no Lazy Ads AI. Approve still queues the write. Hands-off still respects your rules. It does not add Lazy Ads AI.
What do free users get?
Onboarding and competitor ad browse. Zero AI tokens. Free is not a generated campaign and not an MCP key. Subscribe to BYOA or Starter when you want the write path.
Can I manage all nine networks with this workflow?
The product surface is nine networks: Meta (Facebook + Instagram), Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Apple, Bing, ChatGPT, and Snapchat. The knob is the same control on that surface. You still need native advertiser accounts.
Point the knob, then write
If you wanted a staff that waits for a stamp, that is a closed team. If you wanted an AI ad approval workflow you can actually point — Approve every change, or Hands-off inside rules you set — that is the control on Lazy Ads.
Finish onboarding. Browse competitor ads. When you want the write path, subscribe to BYOA for your agent or Starter for Lazy Ads AI. Point the client at https://mcp.lazyads.ai/mcp if the agent is yours. Then set the knob before the first create.
